Common Faults and Troubleshooting Methods of Rapid Temperature Variation Test Chamber
1. During the high-temperature test, if the temperature change does not reach the test temperature value, you can check the electrical system and eliminate the faults one by one. If the temperature rises very slowly, you should check the air circulation system to see if the air circulation regulating baffles are opened normally. Conversely, check if the air circulation motor is operating normally. If the temperature overshoot is severe, then you need to set the PID parameters. If the temperature rises directly and the over-temperature protection is triggered, then the controller is faulty and the control instrument must be replaced.
2. If the low temperature fails to reach the test indicators, you should observe the temperature changes. Is the temperature decreasing slowly, or does the temperature have a tendency to rise after reaching a certain value? In the former case, you should check it and conduct a low-temperature test before drying the chamber to keep the chamber dry and then place the test samples in the chamber for the test. Check if there are too many test samples in the chamber, preventing the air from circulating fully. After eliminating the above reasons, consider whether it is a fault in the refrigeration system. In this case, you need to ask the professional personnel from the manufacturer for maintenance. The latter phenomenon is caused by the poor operating environment of the equipment. The environmental temperature where the equipment is placed, the position (the distance from the wall behind the box) should meet the requirements (all are stipulated in the equipment operation and use instructions).

In the wet heat test, if the actual humidity reaches 100% or the actual humidity differs greatly from the target humidity, with a significant drop in the value, the former phenomenon: it may be caused by the dryness of the gauze on the wet bulb sensor. Then, check if the water tank of the wet bulb sensor is lacking water. The water level in the water tank is automatically controlled by a water level controller. Check if the water supply system of the water level controller is supplying water normally and if the water level controller is working normally. Another possibility is that the wet bulb gauze becomes hard due to long use or the purity of the water supply quality, causing the gauze to be unable to absorb water and dry. Just replace or clean the gauze to eliminate the above phenomenon. The latter phenomenon is mainly caused by the malfunction of the humidification system. Check the water supply system of the humidification system, whether there is a certain amount of water in the system, whether the water level control of the humidification boiler is normal, and whether the water level in the humidification boiler is normal. If everything is normal, then check the electrical control system. This requires professional maintenance personnel to carry out the maintenance.
4. When the equipment is in the test operation process and a fault occurs suddenly, the corresponding fault display prompt appears on the control instrument and there is an audible alarm prompt. The operator can quickly check which type of fault it belongs to by referring to the chapter on fault elimination in the equipment's operation and use manual. Then, you can ask a professional to quickly eliminate the fault to ensure the normal operation of the test. Other environmental test equipment may have other phenomena during use, and you need to analyze and eliminate them based on the specific phenomenon. The environmental testing equipment also needs to be maintained and serviced regularly. The condenser of the refrigeration system should be cleaned periodically. For moving parts, they should be lubricated and oiled according to the instructions. The electrical control system should be maintained and inspected regularly, etc. These tasks are essential.
