XQ-0641A Short Circuit Testing Machine 
I. Application scope of the short-circuit testing machine; 
This device is used to test whether a battery will explode or catch fire under a certain resistance short-circuit condition, and it also displays the short-circuit current through related instruments. 
II. Description of Short Circuit Testing Machine; 
After charging the battery according to the test method specified in 4.5.1, place it in an indoor environment with a temperature of 20℃ ± 5℃. Wait until the surface temperature of the battery reaches 20℃ ± 5℃ or 55℃ ± 5℃, and then leave it for 30 minutes. Then connect the positive and negative terminals of the battery with a wire and ensure that all external resistances are 80mΩ ± 20mΩ. During the test, monitor the temperature changes of the battery. The test will be terminated if either of the following two situations occurs. 
III. Main parameters of the short-circuit testing machine; 
1.The internal dimensions of the explosion-proof box: 500*500*500mm (length x width x height, custom options available) 
2. Test fixture: 1 set 
3. Inner box material: Marble test table surface, high-temperature resistant wire tube 
4. Outer box material: Cold-rolled steel, powder-coated, undergoes high-temperature double-layer paint treatment. 
5. Explosion-proof doors and windows: 300X300mm. Through the glass, one can observe the battery test condition inside the box. 
IV. Structure of the Short-Circuit Testing Machine; 
1. Inner box material: Marble test table surface, high-temperature resistant wire tube 
2. Outer box material: Cold-rolled steel, powder-coated, undergoes high-temperature double-layer paint treatment. 
3. Explosion-proof doors and windows: 300X300mm. Through the glass, one can observe the battery testing condition inside the box. 
4. The explosion-proof door is connected to the box body by a strong hinge, and is further secured with an explosion-proof lock. 
5. Insulating rubber is laid at the bottom of the test chamber to prevent external short circuits of the battery and also to avoid short circuits during non-testing periods. 
6. An exhaust device and explosion-proof lights are installed inside the box.

VI. Precautions for Short Circuit Testing Machine; 
1.Before conducting the test, please make sure that the power supply is properly plugged in or connected. 
2. When conducting the test, make sure that the limit protection switch is securely fixed. 
3. The mechanical transmission parts must be maintained regularly. 
4. After the test is completed, it is necessary to ensure that the power supply has been turned off. 
5. It is strictly prohibited to use auxiliary corrosive liquids to clean the machine. Instead, rust-proof oil must be used. 
6. This testing machine must be used exclusively by one person. The machine must not be knocked on or occupied by anyone. 
7. The machinery must be grounded.
